Rosewood Show 30th June – 1st July.
The preparations for this years Show are inter way and the setting up of the exhibits are taking shape.
The school exhibits are under way today,and the exhibitors / teachers will be putting in heaps of effort to show how talented our kids are from kindy through to primary school right through to the holidays.
It can’t go unsaid recognising the school teachers who put in heaps of their own time setting up and pulling down the exhibits, and it’s seeing the children’s faces when they see their work on display outside the school environment is classic to say the least.
On a serious note the show society’s signage is being stolen from the roadsides and properties for some reason.
Why, escapes me as it’s a once a year gig and a time where we can show off our town , lentertain tourists and travelling competitors in our welcoming culture as well as give our families a good couple of days fun locally.
So, if someone is pranking or has a genuine complaint talk to the local show people, as all they are doing is focussing on your entertainment and spreading the knowledge of country Australia to the masses, and the theft costs come out of the money they give back to our community.
Please….Just hand back the corflulttes and banner, and no questions will be asked,or it’s a matter of time this matter will be handed over to the authorities sadly.
