Its over for another 12 months, the people who worked their bum off for the past 12 months to make it happen , Thank You.
I’m not declaring it success as I’ll leave that to the organisers but what I will say they overcome heaps of hurdles to make it happen.
The fact that the advertising signs we’re constantly defaced or stolen gave someone their jollies , but local support rose above the trivia and I’m sure our guests for the week be it show people or competitors or local producers and schools all gave it their all and provided our public a good experience we hope.
Our local Pollies all kicked in with labour and cash to help the show prizes and bar sales, that is serving and cooking for the masses. They get a ✅ and a thank you… and the SES people who weighed in to help in setting up and pulling down did a great job.
Overall though nothing works without the volunteers, the stewards, the judges, the exhibitors, all unpaid community members that makes country living a level envious to the city slickers.
Ok, the back patting done now let’s get next years gig ready to roll.
